Thousands of homeless children go back to school each year without the basic supplies they need. Infoverity and its employees were recently given the opportunity to participate in the Operation Backpack® campaign, organized by the Volunteers of America, which collect backpacks and school supplies for children in need in cities across the nation.
Infoverity matched employee donations of new backpacks and supplies, and employees gathered at a recent team event to fill the backpacks for local children in need. The full backpacks were then distributed to homeless children in the Volunteers of America housing programs and children living in local shelters.
Operation Backpack was a great event. Many thanks to the Columbus Chapter for giving Infoverity the opportunity to participate!
