Helping our clients to make their business processes run more efficiently
More than ever, Infoverity’s clients are finding that their existing data within their source systems does not provide enough consistency and quality to accurately and efficiently run their business today. This is due to increasing complexities from larger volumes of information, inefficiencies with their existing data quality processes, and lack of data governance. This results in inaccurate reporting and analytics which negatively impacts business decision making. By improving data quality and implementing a centralized Master Data Management (MDM) solution, clients will begin to obtain more value out of their data and quickly see business process improvement.
We have seen a growing number of clients recognize that data is at the heart of their business processes, and that investing in the quality and accuracy of their data is not only beneficial, but mandatory for their success. These clients are utilizing various internal sources of data, bringing them together with commercially available external data from Dun & Bradstreet® (D&B® ), and creating accurate, deduplicated centralized data to be used by their business processes.
The path forward to a digital transformation comes with several challenges. Among these challenges are how to 1) overcome the cultural shift to new data processes and a centralized model 2) ensure a stewardship process to keep the data accurate, and 3) create new automated processes to ensure data creation is validated. There are substantial benefits for those achieving success, though. For example, in this initiative, our clients’ were able to achieve:
- Reduced time and effort spent setting up new customers
- Significantly improved customer and product data accuracy and consistency
- Automation of centralized customer search-before-create and Dun & Bradstreet enrichment
- Real-time visibility to customer credit risk exposure
- More accurate reporting and analytics
- Automate Aggregation based Audit/Rollup
Infoverity partners with D&B and offers pre-built solutions to support clients through their full end-to-end data quality and master data management implementation process. Infoverity has built repeatable orchestration services layered on top of D&B which accelerates:
- Real-time and batch data enrichment for customer onboarding
- Enrichment on data updates
- Publish and subscribe models for downstream source consumption
- Orchestration from D&B to analytical models
The end objective is a business aligned model which provides clean, accurate consolidated data to a client’s most critical business processes. (see diagram below)
An Example of Our Recent work with Master Data Management and Data Quality
A U.S.-based financial holding company needed to shift from an account-centric to a customer-centric organization to supportchanging regulatory requirements. The solution was required to accurately aggregate counterparty credit exposure, spanning multiple products, business and legal entities across a diverse functional and systems landscape. To this end Infoverity provided a turnkey master data management solution involving Informatica Customer360 and Dun & Bradstreet automated data enrichment, creating a centralized source of truth for customer views across all accounts and products.
